Visitor Milestone: Wisdomsdoor hit the 2000 visitors in one day mark this month. It happened between August 1 and August 12. The log files do not reveal where these hits came but the usual website hits returned to normal after that. It be nice to know why this occurred. If anyone has a clue please drop me a note about it. Perhaps someone did an article or review on Wisdomsdoor that I am unaware of. Back in September 2001 there was a similar surge but those hits only went to 1600 and lasted only for a day or so. It was right after the Worldtrade Center tragedy. People searching for answers googled one of my workshop log files where we talked about the end of the world. In this instance however it seems the visitors were not focused on any one article.
Integrating Reality Creating (pt 2): I hope you found my words of power useful in my last blog. Here are some more.
Protect it! Everything needs a bit of protection now and then. It could be yourself, the dog, a neighbor, or even the car or home. When you feel the need to wrap some extra protection around something you could grab the Rose Cross Ritual, which I often do. Or you can use my short version of it, which works just as well. Draw the rose cross symbol (see it here) in the air toward whatever you want to protect. As you do so say the word of power AMVLA (pronounced am-vee-la). This will protect this item or person for 24 to 48 hours.
If you would rather do a quick banishing of negative energy instead use my Banish it! This one is very similar to the one above except you draw a banishing earth pentagram (see it here) around you in one or four directions and say the word of power AMVLA (pronounced am-vee-la). The word AMVLA invokes divine light and creates a holy space. These two techniques are based on a chapter (Words of Power) in my upcoming RC3 book.
Reality Creator III: If you have been following my blogs, you know I have dedicated my summer to the completion of the first draft of RC3. I am very close to making my deadline, even though the summer is over in a few days. I have a few more chapters to do and then I will have a chapter list to present to all of you.
Birthing a new book is never an easy task, at least for the Reality Creator Books. They take so much effort and energy I often wonder how some authors are able to pound out multiple books over a short period of time. A friend of mine (who has since passed on) was the assistant editor to the book "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy." You may have saw the movies or read the book. At that time she was told to take Douglas on a tour of London and not let him out of her sight until the book was done. She told me she followed him around for an entire week of doing mostly nothing, and then the night before the deadline, he locked himself in his hotel room and wrote the entire book in one evening. If you have never authored a book, you will never appreciate the focus that such a feat takes. Especially since the story he wrote is hysterical, innovated, and full of fun.
Of course there is some lesson-spin on this rant and that is to set goals and work hard everyday to reaching those reality creating goals. It is the only way to create some things. I get letters from people that say they are unmotivated and unable to do anything; what can they do? Well sometimes you need to kick yourself in the butt, muster up all your might and focus, and force yourself toward a goal. My books never come easy and I am sure Douglas' birth of Hitch Hikers took tremendous effort as well. So you too must sometimes push yourself to do the things that are important to you. RC3 has taken longer to manifest than I wanted between book releases, but it is coming together now. There is a back story to RC3 and why it took longer than intended, which I may discuss in a future blog...
Light, Peace
