Dissertation 28: Some Questions and Answers
September 22, 2005: Doom and gloom messages, Earth changes, and times of change.

Question:
Is there any validity to the channeled message directing people to move to the mountains and “hold the light” as things in this world shift drastically? I have heard of people putting themselves into debt to follow some of these messages. Should I, a single mother of 2 young children, borrow money to get a house in the mountains and live in seclusion? These messages say that anyone who remains will be implanted with “the chip” or face “re-education camps;” and that those people who do not maintain a high vibration will not be allowed to stay on the earth. The messages say that only the pure and virtuous will remain and, if this is the case, my loved ones would probably be turned away. I know fear should not be a motivator, but what if these things are true? My meditation and “connection” does not produce clarity, but my heart is true. Hermes is this all really to pass? How about all these “visionaries” who have gone “off the grid” for this exact purpose? Heck, just a visit to “survival center” is enough to make you think about an underground dwelling. Is there a greater purpose for me, for us? I am not asking for you to make any decisions for me, I am asking for you to answer questions as honestly as possible. Hermes:
This is what I call a “doom and gloom” forecast. It is very typical of seers but is especially prone to those seers that are predisposed to extreme negative thinking. These negatively focused seers can receive messages meant to help and elevate the individual but instead these messages get twisted within their negative focused subconscious mind. This process causes predictions of natural (and non natural) occurrences to become “doom and gloom” orientated, leaning toward biblical in proportion. No doubt the messages have intensified since the media coverage of the Hurricane Katrina devastation, the Typhoons in Japan, and the now upcoming Hurricane Rita. As people that channel messages watch such things their predictions become even direr, because it fuels their natural tendencies toward the negative. Truth be told, these natural disasters take far less lives than things like war or hatred, but that is a discussion for another time.
Did you watch the airplane that landed at LAX yesterday (September 21, 2005) with a broken front landing gear? I will tell you that the probabilities of that plane breaking up and exploding on the runway were numerous. However, that probability did not manifest and most likely because so many people sent energy of love and light to that situation.
I believe that soldiers of light are needed to help humanity through a most difficult time. I do not believe that these soldiers of light should pack themselves away in a mountain somewhere and be closed off from humanity. If everyone of pure heart did that then things like that plane making a safe landing would never come to manifest.
Should you get out of harms way if you feel your life is threatened? Yes! Should you hibernate and be afraid of the very ground you walk on? No!
Are hard times ahead? Yes there are hard times ahead but not because a vengeful god is telling mankind to ship up or shape out. The earth is just going through natural changes and in the process the shape of the earth may change a bit. Will these changes be dramatic? Yes but over a period of many thousands of years. On a single lifetime basis the physical changes the earth goes through will be small. Do you need to go into the mountains to be safe from these changes? Sure, if you want to wait about 20,000 years for the coast lines to reform. Do you have to worry about it in any one lifetime? No.
That chip prophecy is another “doom and gloom” prophecy that has been manipulated. The original chip prediction goes back to the “Book of Revelations” where it says something like (don't quote me): “and those that follow the beast had 666 marked on their forehead.” This entry in the “Book of Revelations” has nothing to do with any chip or implant. It has been misunderstood. It refers to the closing down of the brow charka so that the voice of light is shut out and the lower passions are allowed to grow out of control. The number 666 in Revelations means “thrice evil” and it refers to the three charka groups (high, mid, low) all being turned to their lower natures. Are souls who focus all their energies into their lower passions doomed? Perhaps, but not because of any selecting process by God! Rather because they take on large amounts of personal karma, which keeps them in the reincarnation cycle for many thousands of years.
The Divine loves everyone! Any god that pretends to select one person over another is a lower being and not a higher one. Any god that says only some of humanity will be saved and lets the rest perish in some abyss is a lower being. The Divine light does not discriminate and everyone can choose to evolve and grow or not. The earth is changing but not because some god has said it is time to ship up or shape out. The earth is changing because it is doing the things the earth has to do to be a planet.
Should you grasp the light and do what you can to evolve and grow? Yes by all means! Should you run away and become a hermit? Absolutely not! I implore those people who carry the light of love and harmony within themselves to help others and yourself by being part of humanity and not apart from it!
You create your world! You create the circumstances around which your life revolves. Sometimes you create not so good things, but most times you create in a positive light. In those times that some bleak things are created, there are always good positive things coming out of it. You are learning how to use the most powerful creative device in the entire universe: your consciousness! Sure you will stumble along the way, but as long as all the solders of light stand together to help when someone stumbles, the world and humanity will always grow and be a better place.
