<GargowL> I am reading a book about ObBEs, and I am really determined to have one very soon...

<GargowL> I don't know it's name in English, but I think it is something like "the swing" or something like that...
<GargowL> what I mean by a swing is something that is usually in a children's playground...

<fo0k> if I have got something form this parapsychological mumbojumbo, it's the "messages from cosmic bros" the messages are so wise. I have adapted some moral standards from there. At least I have spoken to people about those moral maters and stuff..

<GargowL> well, I also started at age of 12, but I'm 16, so it was 4 years ago... I never managed to OBE, but I have had many cases of telepathy, I often see auras, and sometimes I can guess things
<fo0k> well, I kind of know it. But alas, I tend to stop practicing those things because I haven't gotten anywhere.
<fo0k> I used to wander around alone at nights, looking at skies hoping to see a blink of a UFO.. something like 300 times I was there.. Never saw anything.. Still hoping to see one someday.
<fo0k> hermes, how you became aware of your parapsych. Skills?
<Hermes`> in my early 20's I started to develop them a bit at a time.
<Hermes`> but my first encounter was when I was 16
<fo0k> well, so I am not "too late" as I am 20 now
<fo0k> what was that encounter like?
<ThePurest> it is never too late =)
<Hermes`> it was scary because I did not know what it was.
<Hermes`> I left my body during dental surgery
<Hermes`> it took me some years to get over that experience.
<Hermes`> then in my early 20's I thought I'd learn more about this nonphysical world
<fo0k> I hate dentists.. I had those mechanical things in my teeth for 2 years or something.. also quite a few of mine teeth have been removed.
<fo0k> yeps.
<Hermes`> but it takes time
<Hermes`> you have to be patient and hold on tightly to your success
<Hermes`> and use the memory of those success to fuel you till the next one.
<Hermes`> then, your experiences become more frequent
<fo0k> argh. I should have had that persistence 8 years ago.. I'm much more depressed nowadays. So, I'll get depressed when I don't success and I'll stop.

<MagicMan> when I was dreaming I had the idea I was Jesus but now I don't think So

<MagicMan> the beginning of the dream is very clouded ...Next there was a battle taking place around a building, I climbed to the 2nd floor of it and met my rival in the dream we fought a little until he said we didn't have a chance and he made me a deal...he said that I'd have to choose between my life and my companions' life's.

<MagicMan> I accepted the deal and watched as my companions were being killed...then I came to my senses and starting trying to stop the executioners but alas I was too late and my rival allowed me to live and I walked away and the dream ended shortly after that

<Hermes`> and by expanding your knowledge and helping others

<Hermes`> fook, this is true too. If you fail at some task, or to learn the lesson from it, that lesson or task will come up again.

<Hermes`> haven't you ever gone to sleep and woke up with an ache you did not have when you went to sleep?
<Hermes`> in this instance, your body is reacting to a dream you have had.

<fo0k> Hermes`, wouldn't that be the "cell memory" or "DNA memory" or something, maybe one of your bodies remembers the bruises and stuff? can selfcombustion be explained by that you have burned in one of your life and you "remember" it and burn again? :D sick!
<Hermes`> whatever the mechanism, some dreams are very real and can have real physical side effects.
<Hermes`> So who is to say that you can't pay back karma in a dream, when the reality of them can be brought back to the physical body.
