<FORTYoz> does it seem like 'real' or more like something your watching from afar
<Hermes`> yea, for now. But that will change as you do it more and develop it.
<Hermes`> at the start it is like watching a movie
<FORTYoz> what is it like for you ?
<Hermes`> then as you develop the skill, more of your energy leaves the body
<FORTYoz> oh
<Hermes`> eventually is just like an OBE
<Hermes`> it is another way to develop the skill
<FORTYoz> hmm
<FORTYoz> what is it like for you ?
<Hermes`> well I do most of my out of body travels when I sleep.
<Hermes`> I use my meditations for recharging the body, connecting with my higher self.
<FORTYoz> hmm, I've only had OBE when I sleep.. I'm waiting for it to happen again but.. Its been 2 days :((
<Hermes`> well it may take a bit for your body to get the charge back so you can OBE again
<FORTYoz> oh.
<FORTYoz> what are good things for inducing it
<Hermes`> practice
<FORTYoz> wish I knew what I was practicing
<Hermes`> there are various procedures for inducing out of body travel
<Hermes`> I have several articles on the website devoted to it
<FORTYoz> hmm
<FORTYoz> I'll try to find them
<Hermes`> and of course lots of other people have written about their ways of inducing OBE
<FORTYoz> how often are you able to do it?
<Hermes`> I have been traveling out of the body now for 20 years. So I travel almost every night
<Hermes`> but at the start, I only had one every few months
<FORTYoz> nice, when did you start
<Hermes`> when I was 21
<FORTYoz> okay, I'm 18
<Hermes`> then you have plenty of time
<Hermes`> take it slow and develop it a little at a time
<FORTYoz> I will try, I told my mom about my experience and I think she's jealous :)
<FORTYoz> she's in a meditation group
<FORTYoz> and has tried to induce OBE before and has had one I think
<FORTYoz> she just told me this after I told her what happened to me
<Hermes`> well OBE is not an easy skill to acquire, but it can be done
<FORTYoz> her's was deeper then mine though, I only remember disconnecting from the body and then going right back in and waking up
<Hermes`> the travel meditations are a good way to start
<Hermes`> well that is a good first OBE
<FORTYoz> yesterday I saw nothing, today I saw nature images
<FORTYoz> and white pulsating rings of light
<FORTYoz> Its impossible to concentrate on them though
<Hermes`> wow, nice
<FORTYoz> maybe I should try it lying down..
<Hermes`> if you concentrate on them you will lose the images
<FORTYoz> yeah.. Found that out
<FORTYoz> have you heard of Master Raginder?
<Hermes`> the idea is to recognize them, and store them in the back of your mind. After the meditation you can recall them.
<Hermes`> I can't say I have heard of him
<FORTYoz> hmm, my mom goes to these 'centers' with her friends for meditation.. And I think their 'spiritual leader' is named master raginder
<FORTYoz> and she knows all about the 'planes' and stuff
<FORTYoz> I'll find some more info from her and look on the net for info about tit
<Hermes`> wow nice
<Hermes`> Its nice to have a mom to share this with
<Hermes`> you can help each other
<FORTYoz> yeah, she's cool.
<FORTYoz> yeah, I don't live with her though.. Should try to see her more often
<Hermes`> yes try to do that. It is not often you find that mother, son combination.
<FORTYoz> had my own place since I was 17 ;)
<Hermes`> that is good, though a bit hard to do.
<FORTYoz> yeah, lucky I got into the Internet business and made some $$$$
<Hermes`> great, nice reality creating there
<FORTYoz> I try :)
<Hermes`> It sounds like you will take to this esoteric stuff real easy.
<FORTYoz> well I'm hoping, because it just makes perfect sense to me, when nothing else does
<Hermes`> yea, the physical plane can be quite a strange animal to understand at times.
<Hermes`> well you Should try to do a meditation with your mom every now and then
<FORTYoz> I will, she asked me to come
<FORTYoz> fireworks tonight :))
<Hermes`> you are having some kind of celebration in your town tonight?
<FORTYoz> every Saturday and Wednesday for a month..

<MagicMan> I may have completed the quest yesterday... I'm having real trouble telling the difference between flashes and imagination
<Hermes`> well generally speaking, if the images just came to you, then they were real.
<MagicMan> I did a 5min meditation
<MagicMan> hm well that's true and if you can manipulate them? they're not real I guess
<MagicMan> I manipulate so of them in a sense that I can move my point of viewing a bit or get a more general picture
<FORTYoz> takes me longer then 5min to get the thoughts out of my head ;)
<MagicMan> so=some
<MagicMan> ehehe yes
<Hermes`> that is normal magicman, you can move your view of what is happening in the images.
<MagicMan> I am not completely clear of thoughts either in 5min specially because I make a mental note of what I see
<MagicMan> now for the quest
<MagicMan> I saw a pyramid in the desert from the outside
<Hermes`> yea forty 7 minutes is a brief meditation but for the most part it keeps people from getting bored, who have never meditated before.

<MagicMan> then I saw someone walking in the desert with a backpack
<MagicMan> and then kneeling in front of Sandalphon... And he signaled with his hand for the person to rise and that was it
<Hermes`> humm, interesting
<MagicMan> I have no idea if they were real or not
<Hermes`> so the person in the desert was you.
<Hermes`> or you don't know that
<Hermes`> well keep in mind that in the beginning it is tough to trust these images.
<MagicMan> I did not get details on the person
<MagicMan> details
<Hermes`> but also, I have been teaching it this way for a long time, so you are on the right track.
<MagicMan> I think he/she was wearing dark clothes or rags kinda like those you wear in the desert
<Hermes`> well you may have to follow this adventure a bit till you discover more about it
<Hermes`> it could be a lesson for you, or a quest you will begin
<MagicMan> I'm getting too insecure with the images
<MagicMan> I don't even want to continue in fear that I mislead myself or you with my imagination
<Hermes`> you were most likely in the south part of Malkuth
<Hermes`> that is often barren
<Hermes`> in that part of Malkuth the lessons deal with your own fears, and lacks
<Hermes`> it shows you the things that hold you back from achieving your goals
<Hermes`> Magicman there is no misleading anyone with these things
<MagicMan> I'm sick of this I want to go 1st person
<Hermes`> these are adventures that you embark on, lessons to learn
<Hermes`> realize this also magicman, there are people that meditate for years and don't even get these kinds of images
<Hermes`> you are doing very very well
<MagicMan> I don't have energy problems anymore or at least I shouldn't have so why am I still stuck?
<Hermes`> you are not stuck
<MagicMan> I'm not talking about MT
<Hermes`> you are beginning your adventure into the Tree of Life
<Hermes`> magicman you may have to develop the meditation first.
<MagicMan> no I am not...I am seeing someone else doing that (I know Its me but) know what I mean?
<Hermes`> and or be more patient with developing your out of body abilities
<MagicMan> right...
<Hermes`> fortyoz how was your meditation?
<MagicMan> even yesterday I begged Sandalphon to help me...I begged my spirit guide to help me and nothing
<Hermes`> actually magicman, you are only supposed to try to out of body travel on Thursdays
<Hermes`> remember
<Hermes`> that way you can save up the energy for it
<MagicMan> I know I know
<MagicMan> I have plenty stored
<Hermes`> no you don't
<MagicMan> (I think)
<MagicMan> no? I do the energy routines everyday
<FORTYoz> Hermes`: not very good. I shouldn't try to do it at my office ;)
<FORTYoz> I'm listening to your OBE audio tapes
<Hermes`> magicman, that is a good start, you need to do them every day. And you need to save that energy for the big try on Thursday.
<Hermes`> when Thursday comes you have to have such an abundance of energy that it will help to push you out of the body.
<MagicMan> no that is not the 'start' I've been doing those over a month now, remember? + the times I didn't do them regularly
<Hermes`> magicman, I've been doing this for 20 years. One month is just the tip of the iceberg
<Hermes`> you have a good start
<Hermes`> more than likely if you continue in 2 to 3 months more you will have some kind of experience
<MagicMan> you just a have a '0' ahead of me :)
<FORTYoz> my mom said in her OBE She floated up to the ceiling but bounced off it but was able to stick her hand through it
<Hermes`> yea, forty that is because She was in her first nonphysical body
<Hermes`> She has to be in her second nonphysical body to pass through objects
<FORTYoz> yeah
<MagicMan> hermes I was wrong
<FORTYoz> okay
<Hermes`> oh wait I miss read that
<MagicMan> I started Monday the 24th of April
<Hermes`> yea She was in her second nonphysical body then because She could pass her hand through the wall

<FORTYoz> I'm thinking maybe cuz the place I live is really active and noisy that I get woken up mid-sleep.. And it happens

<Hermes`> PE, life is good, the energy here is good as well. A bit on the low side, but building back up.

<PE-PE> Something went wrong. Somewhere is a mistake. A fault.

<Hermes`> the Christians have done a good job of 'owning' Christ And because of it, it is a big turn off to many people of other faiths. Which is very unfortunate because the Christ energy is so needed in each and every one on the planet.

<silvrstr> each gland takes a seat in the subconscious for each 7 year cycle from childhood, and each gland awakens the others to enlighten each facet of metaphysical study, including light and color, sound electromagnetic attraction and repulsion, it gets very deep and very interesting
<silvrstr> the pineal gland is the remainder of the "third eye" the seat of the metaphysical world
<silvrstr> the stuff dreams are made of
<silvrstr> it is the pineal gland which enables us to OBE

<silvrstr> I study biology, physics, the brain, everything I can get my hands on I read, things fall into place and it all sorts itself out in the aethers of your dream works. I learn mostly at night

<Hermes`> and to help evolve us while we are here
<Hermes`> each ray has a Lord that governs it.

<Hermes`> these rays are builder energies.
<Hermes`> some of them are protective in nature
<Hermes`> and some of our energy routines here do pull in more of one and less of another
<Hermes`> these rays of energy have to be stepped down so they can be used here on earth...
<Hermes`> to do that great beings allow themselves to act as transformers..
